Started playing Torchlight again, as I had never really had anyone to play it with in the past. Bought a few copies for friends during the special, and we're rocking it. :-)
Playing an engineer - and might I say, I'm quite the tanky behemoth. >:D
I would prefer if shield bash were a stationary skill given its low mana cost and interrupt capability, rather than me dashing forward and essentially pushing my enemies into awkward positions (awkward for the both of us). I would also like some form of taunt ability - no use being the party's tank if I can't encourage enemies to remain focused solely on me.
I'm rather enjoying my capacity to shield, though. I have a passive shield with a small chance of activation upon taking damage which is actually quite hefty. Then I have a shield which also shields my party for half as much (the next major skill increase will make it full-power). If I can't make things hit me, then I can at least shield my whole party indefinitely! :D
Oh, and I often heal myself when I take or deal damage. Nifty.
